Rockhounding near Mt. Rainier

We had the opportunity to go rockhounding near Mt. Rainier last weekend. The kids searched for various types of volcanic rocks. We were outside Mt. Rainier park so we were totally legal collecting rocks. E was able to use his rocks for his collections requirement for cub scouts. Here are some pictures of our adventures.
